We offer start-to-finish family law serves at a flat rate, including:

*Dissolution of marriage (divorce)

*Paternity (custody/child support)

*Name changes (adult, child & family)

*Uncontested minor guardianships

*Adoption

For slightly more complex cases, we offer hourly rates of $125. A minimum deposit of $500 is required. Payment plans are also available.

If you are the victim of domestic violence and need assistance with an Order of Protection, we offer legal representation at no cost in certain counties (Clay County, Jackson County and Platte County).

If you are in services with a partnering agency, there are a limited number of cases that can be accepted on a pro bono basis. You may still be responsible for filing fees and services costs (if your fee waiver is denied).

You must have a referral sent by that agency in order to qualify. There is also waiting list on which you can be placed if there are no current openings.

LAFKC is affiliated with other agencies and can help coordinate other pro bono services, including supervised visitation, mediation and parenting apps.

Because we are a Clay County Missouri Court-Annexed Program, we can office services in Parenting Court to help participants in most legal aspects, including working with the prosecutor's office to modify child support amounts.
